Detailed Itinerary:
Umbria is only region of Italy landlocked by other Italian regions. This small, lovely land, often referred as the green heart of the Italian peninsula, has no coastal paths, but only hills and lush green countryside. Its territory is deeply connected to a long standing food tradition, which will lead you to discover the simplicity of its culinary roots in the past and its nose scenting out the future.

Day 1:
Arrival in Rome and transfer to our lovely Hotel in Umbria. Aperitivo and welcome dinner.
Day 2:
Visit to explore Cascata delle Marmore, the highest European waterfall. Lunch in Scheggino along its beautiful river. Visit Spoleto, in the afternoon, ntering into the town from Borgiano.
Day 3:
Morning traditional cooking class experience, and visit to the “Fattoria”. Lunch with the dishes you helped prepare. In the afternoon a guided tour of the nearby archaeological site of Carsulae.
Day 4:
We explore Todi and Montecastello di Vibio. Wine tasting in Todi. Lunch. Afternoon free.
Day 5:
Half day truffle hunt followed by a local lunch. Visit Ferentillo, a small hamlet in Valnerina in the afternoon.
Day 6:
Visit a local estate for a wine and olive oil tour and tasting, in Montefalco followed by lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 7:
Full day tour to Bevagna, Spello and Assisi. We will visit the most important monuments in Assisi including the main sites (Basilica di San Francesco Piazza del Comune e Tempio di Minerva, Basilica di Santa Chiara).
Day 8:
Departure transfers to Rome airport and flights back home.
